ALLDATA SHREDDING INC. is the first and only information destruction contractor in Washington to have earned certification the destruction of computer hard drives. It is easy for other information destruction contractors to make claims and promises when no one is checking. We have gone beyond claims and promises by submitting annually to a close examination of every aspect of the security of our operations.
While NAID sets the criteria for the certification, an impartial, independent, third-party American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Board-Certified Protection Professional (CPP) conducts the actual audit. Applicants must submit, for critical review, their policy and procedures manuals, employment screening practices and records, promotional materials, logs and paperwork to verify that they meet the certification requirements. Facility security, monitoring systems, records transporting vehicles, destruction equipment and access control systems must also stand up to the auditor’s inspection. Furthermore, it does not stop with one inspection. To maintain certification, we are audited annually and also subject to random audits at any time.

These designations are only granted upon successful completion of lengthy written examinations evaluating the extent of the candidate’s knowledge, and experience in the security field. Although our NAID AAA Certification audits are conducted by an independent, third-party CPP, having an internal CPP, PSP and CISSP on staff ensures that our company meets and exceeds the NAID AAA Certification standards everyday.
Board Certification in security management (CPP) encompasses the following seven domains of security: management, investigations, legal aspects, personnel security, physical security, emergency management and protection of sensitive information. Our internal CPP earned a perfect examination score in the area of protection of sensitive information. Board certification in physical security (PSP) pertains to conduct of threat surveys and the design, execution, operation and maintenance of integrated security systems that include equipment, procedures and people. The CISSP certification covers 10 information security domains, including information security management and the secure destruction of computer/electronic information storage media such as hard drives, USB flash drives, SD cards and data cartridges.

One of the huge money and time saving advantages that ALLDATA SHREDDING INC. offers its clients is that there is no need to dismantle files to remove staples, paper clips, brads or 2-pronged fasteners prior to document shredding and record shredding nor is there any need for you to remove documents and records from 3-ring binders prior to shredding.
Your materials are transported from your premises in fully-enclosed, locked vehicles for secure, confidential document destruction and records destruction in our certified, private, controlled-access plant. Our destruction plant is closed to the general public and is further protected by a monitored, alarmed security system as well as a closed circuit surveillance system.
Shredded paper is baled and delivered, in sealed vehicles, directly to paper mills. It then undergoes a liquification process wherein it is repulped into new paper products. We immediately issue a CERTIFICATE OF DESTRUCTION to you upon completion of each order.
